Law in Pieces: The Gossip of Hearsay at Sunday Dinner (Law in Pieces: Quick Study Snippet Book 13)

About

A Sunday family gathering, in a Bahamian kitchen where everyone is cooking together — heat, noise, interruptions, side conversations and “who said what” energy. A tour of hearsay under Federal Rules of Evidence — FRE 801-807 (and the gossips in between). The goal of this book is to teach evidence hearsay through short, story-forward scenes — each chapter embodies one rule category (non-hearsay, exemptions, exceptions) or a classic problem (hearsay within hearsay).
Between chapters, being an island gal originally from The Bahamas, I have included some of our native recipes – so I am feeding not only the mind but the body as well. My characters are warm, funny, and precise just as I intended for my Law in Pieces to do — the study of law is about human interactions, I hope this book is an aid that you trust to turn to help you understand hearsay.
